Roles: Prince and Huntsman in the musical Snow White

Mark Bless appeared in the musical Snow White, produced by teatro, taking on two contrasting roles: the Prince and the Huntsman. The production was directed by Peter Faerber, with music by Norberto Bertassi and Walter Lochmann.

The two characters gave Mark the opportunity to explore very different sides of musical theatre. As the Prince, he played a romantic fairy-tale character with solo vocal parts, combining acting and singing within the role. As the Huntsman, he took on a more humorous character, where comic timing and physical expression became an important part of the performance.

Moving between two very different characters within the same production was a particularly interesting challenge. It required Mark to shift from the more composed and romantic presence of the Prince to the lighter, comic energy of the Huntsman, while remaining part of the musical and dramatic flow of the production.

Performing Snow White for a young audience was also a special experience for Mark. The production gave him the opportunity to bring together acting, singing and movement in a form of theatre where music, storytelling and imagination are closely connected.
