In July 2024, Mark portrayed the role of Đorđe in the play Belgrade–Vienna, an adaptation of the drama Belgrade–London by Serbian playwright Fedor Šili. The production was performed open-air at Mortara Park in Vienna’s 20th District, as part of the “Kultursommer Wien” festival. It was directed by Marina Đorđević and produced by the Stanislavski Youth Theatre from Vienna.
The play explores themes of integration, loneliness, and personal transformation through the story of two young people caught between cities and worlds. The character of Đorđe represents the internal struggle of youth facing the decision to stay or leave, and the societal pressures imposed on the individual.
Mark took on this demanding role just four days before the premiere, stepping in for the original lead actor. His dedication, emotional range, and expressive performance captivated the audience, earning special praise for the maturity he brought to the role.
This performance confirmed Mark’s ability to tackle complex stage roles with agility and emotional depth, marking him as a rising star on the Viennese theater scene.
