Don’t miss a thing!
After several months of rehearsals and preparation, the Teatro ensemble presented the musical “Snow White” to the audience at the Stadttheater Mödling.
The premiere took place in front of a full house and in a very special atmosphere. This year is also an important one for Teatro, which celebrates its 20th anniversary.
For Mark, the production brings a special challenge. He takes on the leading role of the Prince, which includes solo singing parts, while also appearing in a second, completely different role as the Hunter.
After the performances in Mödling, “Snow White” continues its summer season in Lutzmannsburg, where an adapted version of the musical will be performed until September 6, 2022.

“I feel great and I’m very happy with how both roles went. The Prince and the Hunter are completely different characters, but changing from one to the other on stage wasn’t difficult for me. The role of the Prince is more demanding because I also have solo singing parts, while the Hunter is a very funny character. Making an audience laugh is not always easy,” Mark says after the performance.

Mark especially enjoys performing for a younger audience.
“I love the fact that this production is also for children. While I’m on stage, I have the feeling that we are becoming part of their imagination and childhood. That makes me want to give even more to every performance.”
For Mark, musical theatre is particularly exciting because it brings several disciplines together.
“A musical is demanding because you have to sing, act, speak and dance. So many things have to work together: the actors, the orchestra and the technical team. When everything comes together on stage, it is an incredible feeling.”
What fascinates him most is the immediacy of theatre.
“Everything is alive. The curtain goes up and suddenly there is movement, music, dialogue, laughter, excitement and emotion. That is what I find fascinating about theatre.”

“I’m very grateful for their trust and for everything I’m learning in this production. The whole team welcomed me from the beginning, and everyone helps and supports each other.”
The experience has also strengthened Mark’s interest in acting alongside music.
“Acting requires talent, knowledge, imagination, discipline and a lot of work. Through this experience, I understand even better why I want acting to be part of my future.”
