Mark Featured in the TV Show “Exclusive”

Mark will be featured in an upcoming edition of “Exclusive”, the television programme by renowned Serbian journalist Mira Adanja-Polak.

Mira Adanja-Polak is one of Serbia’s most respected and influential television journalists and authors. Through “Exclusive”, broadcast on Radio Television of Serbia (RTS), she presents prominent personalities from the worlds of culture, politics, science and public life.

For this edition, she travelled to Vienna to meet Mark and discover the story behind his music, his years with the Vienna Boys’ Choir, his experiences in theatre and the creative projects he is developing.

The television crew visited Palais Augarten, home of the Vienna Boys’ Choir, where Mark spent four years as a member of the Haydn Choir. The cameras followed a rehearsal and captured part of the world that played such an important role in his musical development. Kapellmeister Jimmy Chang also spoke about Mark, while Dr. Tina Breckwoldt offered an insight into the Vienna Boys’ Choir and its work.

Filming continued at Mark’s home, where the conversation turned to his own songs, theatre, music and his plans for the future. His parents also took part in the programme and spoke about supporting his artistic development over the years.

For Mark, the filming was also a special connection with Serbia, the country his family comes from.

“I am honoured to be featured in ‘Exclusive’ with Mira Adanja-Polak. She came from Serbia to Vienna to make this programme about me, and that means a lot to me. I am especially happy that viewers in Serbia, where my parents come from, will have the opportunity to get to know me and my work.”

Mark describes the days spent filming with Mira Adanja-Polak and her television crew as an experience he will remember for a long time.

“We also talked about my plans for the future, so I think it will be very interesting to watch this programme again in a few years and see what happened with all those plans,” he says with a smile.

The programme will be broadcast on RTS 2 on Sunday, 8 January 2023 at 15:20 and will also be available online.
